Elana Gonzales, B.S.

Elana has worked in education for 5 years at nonprofit programs, public school districts, and educational technology companies. She has held a variety of student support roles, including working as an Educational Recruiter, SPED Paraprofessional, and Employment Specialist. She previously found success working with adult learners through an AmeriCorps program aimed at supporting individuals with learning differences. This experience led her to CIP.

As an Academic Coordinator at CIP, Elana works with students to build their knowledge, skills, and confidence in order to pursue fields of study that are both challenging and attainable. She does so by helping students identify meaningful degree paths, navigate support services, and develop the executive functioning and academic skills required to succeed. Elana has earned a Bachelor’s in Management from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.

When she’s not helping out students, you can find her painting in her home, listening to 2000’s hits, or biking along the Long Beach bluffs.
