The Spring 2026 term at CIP has been nothing short of extraordinary. For our students—young adults on the autism spectrum and with learning differences enrolled in our Full-Year Transition Program—this semester was a masterclass in determination, personal growth, and community connection.
From conquering challenging college courses to taking their first steps into the workforce, our students didn’t just meet their goals this term—they redefined what is possible.

Connection, Culture, and Community Impact
Belonging is the foundation of growth. This term, our students actively chose connection, showing up for themselves and each other in remarkable ways.
Showing Up Strong: Students achieved a cumulative attendance rate of 82%, demonstrating commitment to their personal and social growth.
A Packed Social Calendar: Across all CIP Centers, students organized and participated in 679 planned social activities. From local weekend outings to cultural events, these moments provided the perfect backdrop for building lifelong friendships.

These regional adventures serve as the perfect training ground for our expansive Global Engagement Trips during the Winter Term, where students from across the country unite for international travel.

The Ultimate Balancing Act: 168 students masterfully balanced their academic workloads with professional responsibilities, including volunteering, internships, and employment.
Heart & Service: Giving Back
True independence includes recognizing the impact we have on the world around us. This spring, CIP students stepped up to support local organizations, proving that leadership and empathy go hand in hand.
Our students contributed a staggering 1,829 hours of community service. By volunteering for local causes, they didn’t just strengthen their communities—they built vital pre-employment skills, fostered deep empathy, and discovered the joy of civic responsibility.
Looking Ahead
At CIP, we believe that when you give neurodivergent young adults the tools, the space, and the belief they need to succeed, there is no limit to what they can achieve.
