Charlie grew up in sunny Manhattan Beach, California and decided to take a gap year after high school and before attending CIP. Charlie has been employed by the State Council on Developmental Disabilities and volunteers as a board member of the Autism Society of Los Angeles.
When asked what CIP means to them, Charlie commented, “CIP means living on my own and developing a sense of independence.” Their advice for someone considering a program like CIP, they remarked, “Coming to a program like this should be your choice and not one that was made for you.”
Charlie’s special interests include oceans (specifically sharks), writing, anime and has a passion to keep their community engaged by promoting informed voting.
