Rachel has over twelve years of experience as a Project Specialist for Eastern Florida State College – Center for Service-Learning & Civic Engagement. Her main focus was to recruit and place students in meaningful and educational community service positions by speaking in classes, supporting faculty in utilizing service learning, and networking with community partners. While at EFSC, she was fortunate to work with CIP students and looks forward to supporting and expanding opportunities for all our students.
As a Career Coordinator at CIP, Rachel helps students develop pathways toward employment by building portfolios of quality employment experiences and developing a foundation of self-sufficiency toward employment assessment, planning, and passion. Rachel will provide support via resume development, effective job search strategies, interview preparation, and assisting our students in utilizing their transferable skills to the workforce.
Rachel is a long-time Brevard resident with an MBA in Human Resources from Florida Tech. She has fond memories of watching the first Space Shuttle launch and is excited for the next generations to witness space exploration history like her. She keeps busy volunteering in various nonprofits and spending time with her husband, son, and rescue dog.
