Rachel has worked in the Human Resources and post-secondary education arenas for the past fifteen years. She has dedicated her career to supporting young adults. Before joining CIP, she served as a Project Specialist at Eastern Florida State College’s Center for Service-Learning & Civic Engagement, where she recruited and placed students in meaningful community service positions. She collaborated with faculty to integrate service learning into their courses and built strong networks with community partners. During her time at EFSC, she worked closely with CIP students and is excited to continue expanding opportunities for them at CIP.
Rachel joined the CIP team in 2023 as the Career Coordinator, where she specializes in guiding students through a comprehensive career development process. This includes career assessments, exploring various industries by visiting businesses and engaging with professionals, participating in internships to build transferable skills, and preparing personalized career portfolios that align with their goals.
A long-time resident of Brevard County, Rachel holds an MBA in Human Resources from Florida Tech. Having grown up watching the Space Shuttle launches, she eagerly anticipates the future of space exploration for the next generation. In her free time, Rachel is actively involved in local nonprofits and enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and rescue dog.
