Misty Wagner

Misty has more than five years of experience in the field of learning differences and autism spectrum disorder as an educator. She recently found success working with students entering into the post-secondary world by tailoring curriculum to help the student succeed in the transition. She collaborated with administration, therapists, and colleagues to make plans to insure students were adequately prepared. Misty assisted in advocating and help the students learn how to advocate on their own behalf.

As a Student Advisor at CIP, Misty will guide the young adults by facilitating the weekly goal setting and self-assessment process, tracking progress, helping teach money management, and budgeting. Misty earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from The University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two adorable little boys, cooking, and taking advantage of the lovely southern California weather.
