Jessica has worked as part of the CIP team since 2015 first in the role of admissions coordinator and now as the graduated living coordinator and student advisor.
She previously found success working as an assistant manager and youth coach for On the Edge Rock Climbing Gym. In these roles, she managed a team of dedicated employees to facilitate a safe and exciting indoor recreation experience for the general public. While at On the Edge, Jessica developed an after school leadership and team-building program geared toward youth as well as coaching young athletes to achieve national rankings of competitive rock climbing.
As the graduated living community coordinator at CIP, Jessica works with the graduated CIP students providing higher level skill development and individualized assistance by preparing the graduated students for the next level of independence in employment, college academics, social/interpersonal development, and beyond. As a student advisor, Jessica offers guidance on goal-setting, banking & budgeting, and problem-solving and communication strategies to ensure students are making continuous progress towards their dreams.
Jessica has earned a master’s degree in counseling from Webster University in Melbourne, Florida. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida.
When Jessica is not spending time with her students and the CIP team, she is busily running around after her two young sons and husband. They can be found either rock-climbing at their local indoor climbing gym or surfing the beautiful waves of the Florida coast. She also has a passion for traveling the world and getting the chance to experience the diverse cultures that the world has to offer.
