Originally from New England, Amber has worked in the field of positive youth development and mental health for six years and now serves as the Life Skills & Wellness Coordinator here at CIP. Previously finding success working as a case manager for children and adolescents, mentoring in the juvenile justice system, and as a residential supervisor at a therapeutic boarding school, she is passionate about working with young adults and families to cultivate confidence, connection, and character.
As a Life Skills & Wellness Coordinator at CIP, Amber helps empower students to build resilience and leadership by creating meaningful connections and dynamic curricula that promote essential life skills. She is experienced in collaborating with educators, community organizations, and families to create supportive environments that foster social, emotional, and academic growth. Amber is passionate about mentoring and guiding diverse groups of young people to realize their potential and ability to master the necessary skills of adulthood.
Amber has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a specialized concentration in Mental Health from Southern New Hampshire University, taking accelerated courses and finishing her degree a year early.
When she’s not here working with students, you can find her spending days enjoying the outdoors, crocheting, doing yoga, or reading.
