Rose has worked in the field of applied behavioral analysis and complex learning differences for over a year as a Registered Behavior Technician, prior to stepping into her role as a Career Coach. While an RBT, Rose worked to create and implement behavioral intervention plans for individuals with autism and other developmental challenges. She also has experience working to support young adults in their higher education pursuits as an EOP Peer Mentor at California State University, East Bay in Hayward, CA.
As a Career Coach at CIP, Rose guides students through the intricate career exploration process. Her mission is to help each student secure employment, internships or apprenticeships, and community volunteering opportunities. Rose also works to prepare students for the workforce through mock interviewing, job searching and application guidance, and professional/social mentoring.
Outside of working one-on-one with students, she attends California State University, East Bay, as a full-time student working toward their bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Studies expected in December 2023.
