Katherine has worked in the field of ABA for 5 years. As a program coordinator, parent trainer and social skills operations leader, she participated actively with colleagues to plan events that involved all clients and caregivers.
As a PEERS certified Social Skills Coordinator at CIP Long Beach, Katherine helps guide young adults with social challenges by facilitating social mentoring groups, individual sessions, community activities, seasonal events and structured modules to help with reading verbal and nonverbal communication which aims to support the student relationships with peers, friends, family and co-workers. Katherine earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from National University where she graduated with honors. She also holds an Associates Degree in Liberal Studies from Los Angeles City College.
When she’s not working with the students in the office, you can find her spending time with family, gardening, indulging in self-care activities or making traveling plans.
