Karen has been working with students for over a decade. Her professional experience includes working at Long Beach City College as a mentor for Project RISE and as an achievement coach for Promise Pathways. She has earned a Bachelor’s in Child Development at CSU Dominguez Hills.
Karen’s role at CIP as an academic coach focuses on working directly with students and discussing the management of their academic lives. She supports, assists, and listens to their needs as a student and seeks to connect this to their passions in life
While not working with CIP, she is a parent who loves photography, cooking, playing board games, and hanging out with family and friends.
