Sheri is from Silver Spring, Maryland. Before enrolling in CIP, Sheri worked at the Senate Employees’ Child Care Center in Washington, DC and also attended school. She has obtained a BA from Mitchell College where she graduated Cum Laude. Sheri is studying at Eastern Florida State College to become certified as a Respiratory Therapist. Sheri does weekly community service work at a local hospital and has held paid employment at Grand Villa of Melbourne. Sheri’s special interests include crocheting, reading, being outdoors, and learning new things.
When asked about advice to a student considering CIP, Sheri shared, ”You may fall and slip up, but the staff will be there to help you get back up. CIP is a place where my deficits can be worked on, and I can challenge myself to improve so I can live a better life,” she continued.
Sheri’s future plans include becoming a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), working towards an advanced degree, settling down, and getting married.
