Sean is from Westchester, California and is studying film production at West Los Angeles College. Before coming to CIP, Sean was interested in working in Hollywood on movie and TV sets and joining a union. Ultimately, he realized that this was not the path for him and enrolled at CIP Long Beach.
Sean works as a front desk intern at CIP Long Beach and also volunteers at Creating Better Communities. He loves to go to the beach, watch sports, and attend concerts and music festivals. He also enjoys cooking, watching TV shows, especially Disney +.
When asked what advice he might have for someone considering a program like CIP, Sean commented, “If you are going to come into a program, you are going to have to put a lot into it to get anything out of it. You are going to have support and free range, but you are going to have to have an open mind for things,” he continued. “Having an open mind will take you far in this program and CIP can help you set yourself up for success in the future.”
Sean would like to become a real estate agent. He is taking the courses required to obtain a real estate license in the state of California.
