Samantha Martinez, B.A.

Samantha or “Sammie” has worked in human services for 5 years as a case manager, peer support specialist, and community integration specialist. She previously found success working in the social work field, advocating change, supporting her participants with access to resources, and raising mental health awareness.

As a Student Support Specialist at CIP, Sammie helps students improve their independent living skills and social skills by promoting personal hygiene, household cleanliness, and socialization with peers. Samantha has earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from CSU Channel Islands in Camarillo, California.

When she is not at CIP, you can find her with her sisters and partner at live music events, roller skating, hanging by the pool basking in the sunshine, or teaching others how to swim. Samantha is an active volunteer in different sectors, a mentor to students in 8th grade and up, a volunteer lifeguard for a foster youth summer camp, and a pen pal.
