Pierece Wade is a dynamic and engaging Life Skills Coach. He grew up in Brevard County, just minutes away from Cocoa Beach. He graduated in 2003 from Cocoa High School. He attended Mesabi Range Technical & Community College in Virginia, Minnesota. There he played NJCAA football representing the Norsemen. In addition to earning his Associate of Arts degree in the spring of 2007, he developed a passion for volunteering in the community. While in Minnesota, Pierece served as a coach and mentor for Special Olympics athletes, volunteered as a builder with Habitat for Humanity, and participated in Adopt A Highway. Having earned a scholarship to Tiffin University in Ohio, he achieved a degree in Sports Management in two years and graduated in the spring of 2009.
Pierece began working at Devereux’s Florida Viera campus in 2009 as a direct staff member with youth facing significant emotional, behavioral and developmental challenges. In 2010, he was promoted to floor supervisor before coming to CIP in 2013.
Outside of CIP, Pierece is a devoted dad of two sons. He actively volunteers at their schools, goes on field trips and helps coach athletic events. He enjoys camping and fishing and is a Florida Gator Fan.
