Lynn Racicot, BSW

Lynn joins the CIP team as the Social Skills Coordinator with over 35 years of experience, working with students and families. She has worked in the area of human services and education in a variety of community-based, residential, and educational settings. She spent 23 of these years working as a caseworker for a specialized program within the Pittsfield Public School Department. In addition to Lynn’s employment experience, she has had training in the areas of mediation and mindfulness and hopes to bring these skills into the work that she does at CIP.

As the Social Skills Coordinator, Lynn looks forward to assisting students as they navigate social exploration through modules following The Peers Curriculum, paired social coaching, and weekend activities.

Although Lynn is not from the Berkshires, she has made this her home and the place where she has raised her two daughters, Jara and Maya, and resides with her husband, Joe, and their pet dog, Chewie. When Lynn is not at work, she is happiest when she is spending time with family and friends, cooking, listening to live music, or visiting her favorite vacation spot, Key West.
