Lacey has worked in the fields of education and mental health since 2015 in public and private elementary and secondary schools as a paraprofessional, school social worker, and wellness center coordinator. She previously found success working with youth experiencing anxiety, depression, and social difficulties to build coping skills, find a greater sense of purpose and value, and improve their relationships.
As a Clinician at CIP, Lacey helps students make progress toward the goals that they want to achieve and navigate life stressors by identifying and replacing negative thought patterns and learning effective emotional regulation and interpersonal skills. Lacey has earned her master’s degree in Social Work from San Jose State University as well as her bachelor of science in psychology from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA. She is currently an associate social worker working towards her clinical social work license.
When she’s not providing therapy services at CIP, you can find her on a trail exploring the outdoors or at her pottery wheel creating functional pieces of art.
