Edward has worked in the field of education with neurodiverse learners for 8 years as a teaching assistant, lecturer, instructor, and Director of Education.
He previously found success working with neurodiverse students at the college level and grades 6-12, instructing students in the study of Literature, History, Composition, and navigating the complex structures of the college academic environment.
As an Assistant Program Director at CIP, Edward supports our staff and students by actively engaging with them, ensuring they have access to the necessary supports, resources, and coaching to thrive.
Edward has earned an M.A. in English with a Literature concentration from San Francisco State University in San Francisco, CA. He is a published critic and has presented at conferences dedicated to the Humanities on topics ranging from literary puzzles to ageism targeting older artists.
When he’s not working with students or supporting CIP staff, you can find him playing or maintaining guitars, watching YouTube videos on guitars, cooking, wandering the Bay Trail, watching mystery shows on TV, or reading some detective fiction.
