Briana Moreno Sanchez has worked in education and student support services since 2018 as a Bridge Program Director, Staff Coordinator, and EOP Peer Mentor. She previously found success working with first-generation and underrepresented college students, providing mentorship, leadership development, and transition support that positively impacted student retention and academic achievement.
As a Bridge Program Director at College is Real, Briana helped high school students from underserved communities prepare for college success by designing and leading academic enrichment programs, coordinating mentorship opportunities, and supporting students through college applications. Briana has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women’s & Gender Studies from Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California.
When she’s not working with students or building educational programs, you can find her spending time with her dog, Rio, getting in a good workout at the gym, exploring local coffee shops, or enjoying quality time with family and friends.
