Sharona first joined the College Internship Program in 2007 as a Student Advisor at CIP Brevard in Melbourne, Florida. After 6 years at CIP, Sharona transitioned to start her own business, Sharona Coaching and Consulting, which provides coaching to families with teens and young adults on the Autism Spectrum. As part of her coaching practice, Sharona also enjoyed leading workshops and facilitating a local monthly support group. Sharona presents at several national conferences and consults with several organizations in the Autism field. Sharona is honored and excited to return to CIP in this new position to launch the Family Services Program which will provide education, support and coaching services to CIP families.
Sharona graduated with her Special Care Counseling Degree in Montreal, Canada. In addition, Sharona has completed several specialized courses in Asperger’s Studies from Elms College and continually enhances her knowledge through conferences and professional development workshops.
Sharona is a certified professional life coach through iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching) and is grateful for having had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful families through her business, Sharona Coaching and Consulting.
In her spare time, Sharona enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and volunteering with her pet therapy dog, Scruffy.
