Each CIP location provides unique opportunities for students to express themselves artistically and develop their unique talents. These optional classes enhance CIP’s core values of social executive functioning.
Engage in your passion for the arts such as drawing, painting, creative writing, and mixed media. All CIP locations offer regular opportunities to participate in creative arts classes and activities. As an outlet for creativity and self-expression, regularly held workshops strengthen social bonds between students and community members, helping to build self-confidence and character.
Students engage in small group workshops that challenge them creatively while incorporating core elements of CIP’s standard curriculum and interactive environments. Past events have included drama club, theater performances, puppetry, and filmmaking.
CIP students have regular opportunities to work together and contribute to projects such as Yearbook Class, the Reframe Art Calendar, a National Student Art Contest, and more.
