Cameron Chisem has worked and continues to work in the field of Neurodiversity support as a Behavior Therapist. He has done ABA Therapy with individuals of varying ages to help ensure emotional and behavioral regulation. His work has been a big help in de-escalation and finding alternative methods to grow and overcome adverse challenges.
As a Student Support Specialist at CIP, Cameron’s primary goal is to empower the students to develop the executive functioning, independent living, and social skills necessary to achieve greater independence and success in their daily lives. Through individualized support, structured learning modules, and hands-on practice within their living spaces, students are able to strengthen their ability to plan, organize, initiate tasks, solve problems, learn time management skills, and follow through on responsibilities. Cameron continues working on bettering themselves by taking courses in ABA therapy, behavioral psychology, and becoming a Registered Behavior Technician.
When he’s not working, he is spending time with his family, going to the beach, hiking, and enjoying life to the fullest.
