Sarah has worked in the field of autism for over five years as a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant. She previously found success working with students with Autism and learning differences in developing goals and objectives and creating strategies for overall progress. In addition, she has extensive experience collaborating with students, teachers, and support staff in which communication and organization is imperative in developing solid, trusting relationships.
As a Student Advisor at CIP, Sarah helps guide and mentor the young men and women at CIP by facilitating the weekly goal setting and self-assessment process, tracking and communicating progress, helping teach money management and budgeting, and ensuring that the student has every opportunity to be involved in the direction of their program and services. Sarah has earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Saint Rose in Albany New York, and has completed several semesters of her Master’s degree.
When she’s not working one on one with students in the office, you can find her spending time with her family in the Berkshires, enjoying music at Tanglewood and outdoor activities with her family.
