Lainey has worked in the field of Autism and Learning differences for the past 13 years. Prior to working at CIP, she was a teacher’s assistant and residential counselor for children and adults with Autism and severe learning differences. She previously found success in working with students on the spectrum by making sure she was providing support to each student individually to ensure that they were able to learn at their own pace.
As a Student Advisor at CIP, Lainey helps our students make progress on the goals that they have set for themselves by actively discussing and providing support regarding weekly successes, smaller goals that align with the bigger goal, and any challenges that may need problem-solving. Lainey has earned her bachelor’s in Psychology from Bay Path University in Longmeadow, MA. She also holds a certificate in Health and Wellness.
When Lainey is not working at CIP, you can find her spending time with her family. Lainey has three nephews and a niece that she enjoys spending time with and watch grow. Lainey enjoys being outdoors and likes to hike with friends when the weather is nice. Lainey also enjoys reading, word search puzzles, and trying out new coffee and ice cream shops.
