Cassandra Perez, B.A.

Cassandra Perez has worked in the field of student support, wellness education, and trauma prevention since 2021. She has served as a peer educator, program assistant, and workshop facilitator in both university and nonprofit settings, focusing on holistic wellness, healthy relationships, and empowering young people through education and advocacy. Cassandra has supported college students and community members in building resilience, accessing resources, and cultivating skills for personal and academic growth.

As a Student Support Specialist at CIP Long Beach, Cassandra helps young adults strengthen their independence and confidence in areas such as college life, executive functioning, and emotional regulation. She supports students through personalized coaching, compassionate listening, and practical goal-setting. Cassandra earned her B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, and is certified in yoga instruction, trauma-informed care, and scientific diving.

When she’s not at CIP, you can find Cassandra skating by the beach, attending yoga classes, or getting involved in community events centered on healing, wellness, and empowerment. She’s passionate about making wellness accessible and creating spaces where all people feel seen, supported, and capable of thriving.
