Summer@CIP Admissions and Tuition
CIP carefully selects applicants who we feel have the greatest potential to benefit and will find a great “fit” within our tight-knit student population
Admissions Criteria
- Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum, ADHD, Nonverbal, Dyslexia or other learning differences
- High school students entering 10th, 11th and 12th grade in the Fall, as well as recent high school graduates
- Student has a Full-Scale IQ of an 80 and above
- Emotional, behavioral, and psychological stability at least 1 year prior to application submission
- Independently administers medications with minimal prompts
- Is enrolled in a majority of mainstream classes and requires no 1:1 support throughout the day
- At least a 6th-grade level reading fluency and reading comprehension
- Motivated to enroll and engage in all aspects of the program
Admissions Process
Our admissions team will help you determine if CIP may be a good fit for you or your student
It is the policy of the College Internship Program to admit and treat all individuals without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, or sexual orientation.
- Application form and required $125 non-refundable application fee (paid upon submitting the online application)
- Parent Questionnaire form
- Current Neuropsychological examination with Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC) or Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) (dated no more than three years prior to application)
- Most recent IEP (Optional)
- 2 Letters of Reference
- A recent student headshot photo
Application Deadlines
Applications are processed in the order they are received, once all materials have been fully received by our admissions office. If it’s determined that your student is appropriate for CIP’s Summer Program, our admissions office will contact you to schedule an interview.
New Students
Application Deadline:
March 31 – After which applications will continue to be considered for the program on a rolling basis until we’ve reached capacity.
Decision Notification:
Interviews and acceptance decisions are ongoing.
Response Deadline:
Participants confirm their acceptance within two weeks.
Returning Students
Application Deadline:
February 28 – After which applications will continue to be considered for the program on a rolling basis until we’ve reached capacity.
Summer@CIP Tuition & Fees
The 2025 Summer Program tuition of $5,800 covers the activities, room and board (3 meals a day), and 24/7 staffing support. Airport transportation can be arranged for a fee.
Upon acceptance to the program, a non-refundable prepayment of $1,500 and registration forms will be required in order to reserve your space. The final payment is due April 30th.
Summer@CIP Tuition discounts:
- Early Application Discount: Families who apply before November 30 will receive a $200 discount.
- Full-Year Program Tuition Credit: A $2,225 credit may be applied towards the tuition of attending CIP’s Full-Year Program (up to $4,500 total for past participants)
- Sibling Discount: Families with more than one student in the same year are eligible to receive a $150 discount per each student.
*Summer@CIP may qualify as a medical tax deduction in accordance with IRS Regulation 1.213-1(e)(1)(v)(a). Consult individually with your tax advisor.

Each year, we ask students to submit a creative video for a chance to win one of three $1,000 scholarships to a Summer@CIP program!
