Independence Scholarship Award
To help further diversity, equity, and inclusion at the College Internship Program by subsidizing the cost of tuition for motivated individuals of color and those who are economically disadvantaged who may personally and professionally benefit from the CIP program
About the Independence Award
The Independence Award Scholarship strives to help keep education within reach by providing financial support in the form of scholarships to qualifying students. Qualifying students meet CIP’s admissions criteria, have been accepted to CIP’s Full Year Program, and are either economically disadvantaged or of minority heritage, including but not limited to Black, African-American, Asian, South Asian, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, Latinx, Chicanx, Native American, and multiracial.
Recognizing the need for greater diversity, equity, and inclusion, the Independence Award aims to provide greater opportunity and access to those who wish to enroll in the College Internship Programs Full Year Program offering.
The CIP Independence Award Scholarship supports individuals’ success by helping students achieve a personalized education and invest in a better future. Established in 2021, CIP’s Independence Award Scholarship is committed to providing a limited number of up to $19,000 annual scholarships to qualified new and returning Full Year Program students.
