Student enjoy activities such as whale watching, attending professional and college sporting events, concerts, local festivals, farmers markets, and shopping. Long Beach is a short distance from Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood and everything Southern California has to offer. CIP has weekly activity meetings where students are involved in choosing and planning these events.
Long Beach Transit regularly operates 38 bus routes. Also, Long Beach’s vision is to be the most bicycle-friendly urban city in the nation and new bike routes are being developed. CIP provides transportation when needed to social activities, college, internships, grocery shopping, and more. CIP Long Beach is 10 minutes from Long Beach Airport and 25 minutes from the Los Angeles International Airport.
