Nature lovers enjoy the abundance of parks and a national forest. Students also enjoy swimming, hiking, biking, local festivals, musical performances, and bowling. CIP has weekly activity meetings where students are involved in choosing and planning these events.
CIP Bloomington is within walking distance to Indiana University and dozens of galleries and museums. The Bloomington Transit bus system services the majority of Bloomington including both Ivy Tech and IU Bloomington campuses. CIP provides transportation when needed to social activities, college, internships, grocery shopping, and more. Indianapolis International Airport is one hour north of Bloomington and a shuttle is available.
