Cultural and educational events include local festivals, the San Francisco MOMA, Chabot Space Center and cruises to Alcatraz and Angel Island. CIP has weekly activity meetings where students are involved in choosing and planning these events.
CIP Berkeley is centrally located in the heart of downtown Berkeley and is in immediate proximity to the Downtown Berkeley BART station. Students are within a 1 block walk to Berkeley City College and a few blocks from UC Berkeley. CIP provides transportation when needed to social activities, college, internships, grocery shopping, and more. The Berkeley Center is an easy drive or train ride from both San Francisco and Oakland airports.
