International Admissions

Students from around the world can attend CIP's comprehensive transition programs

Admissions Process

CIP is an SEVP-approved institution that accepts foreign non-resident students to study on an F1 Visa at all of our five program locations. Applicants who are accepted to CIP will be eligible to obtain a visa with permission from the United States Embassy or Consulate.

When considering admission for an international (non-us citizen), the process of obtaining approval, once the student is accepted to CIP, can often take up to three (3) months to complete the approval, immigration, and customs processes.

English Language Requirements

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) may be required for all international students whose first language is not English.

College Academics

Students can pursue dual enrollment at a nearby college or university while accepted to study at CIP.

Orientation & Break Times

Students attending a Full-Year CIP on a visa participate in the same orientation an non-visa students, and are eligible to stay through certain break periods during the CIP’s annual programming.

Health Insurance

Health insurance is required for all individuals attending CIP. Please check with your CIP centers local health care provider in advance to determine exactly which health insurance is acceptable and provide that information to the family.
