Michael Plotkin, B.S.

Michael has worked in both academic and non-academic settings teaching yoga, meditation, and spreading mindfulness techniques to students eager to connect more with themselves.

Michael previously found success in college using mindfulness techniques in a group setting. As an undergraduate, Michael created a Mindfulness Meditation Club providing students a safe space to connect with themselves via breath-focused meditation as well as conducting group sharing sessions.

As life skills and wellness coach at CIP, Michael guides students through yoga and mindful meditation practices to help them find a greater sense of peace and well-being. Studies show that students are able to perform much better in all aspects of life the more mindful and calm they are.

Michael has earned a B.S. from UC Berkeley in Business Administration. He also holds a certificate of completion by the Yoga Alliance following the completion of a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.

When Michael is not working with students, you can catch him hiking in nature, reading inspirational books, or spending time with his dog.
