Lauren Thomas, B.S.

Lauren Thomas works at the National Office as one of the National Enrollment Specialists. She has worked in the field of social services for 6 years, working as a Job Coach and Program Director at ServiceNet, Inc. where she worked with adults of all ages with a variety of disabilities. She was also employed as the SAIN/CSEC Coordinator and Forensic Interviewer for the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office. While there she coordinated multi-disciplinary teams to meet the needs of victims and their families.

As the National Enrollment Specialist at CIP, Lauren helps families and students through the full-year admissions process. Her objective is to provide an opportunity for students to successfully transition from adolescents to adulthood. Enabling students to fulfill the future they envision for themselves. Lauren provides detailed full-year program offerings to families and assists with obtaining and reviewing applications.

Lauren has a Bachelor’s Degree in African American Studies and Psychology from Smith College in Northampton MA. Additionally, Lauren has completed numerous master-level courses in education at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, MA.

Lauren has a natural propensity for adventure when she is not traveling or re-discovering local hidden gems you can find her with her knitting, a cup of tea, and a good book.
