Jeff joined CIP in October 2016 after a decade spent working in public elementary, secondary, and higher education settings, as well as for a post-secondary transition consultant. During those years, Jeff mostly taught in science and special education classrooms. His proudest professional accomplishment came while working on an interdisciplinary team that developed a public high school’s first-ever life skills program.
Jeff previously served as Head Student Advisor for the Berkeley center. In that role he worked closely with students, families, the service team, and case managers to coordinate service delivery and create a positive experience for all involved. He was promoted to Assistant Program Director in September 2019. In his new role, Jeff’s focus includes maintaining programming and service quality standards, facilitating and directing the service team, and ensuring that students have the best possible opportunities to succeed.
Jeff holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he was valedictorian of his graduating class.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys reading, traveling, skiing, hiking, playing guitar, and pursuing the many culinary delights found in the Bay Area.
