Janice has worked in the field as a paraprofessional for 6 years as an Instructional Aide – Special and Student Support Specialist for LBUSD and LBCC. She previously found success working with students with learning difficulties in all ranges from mild to severe. She loves helping students become more confident and independent in their life skills in fun creative ways.
As a Student Support Specialist at CIP, Janice helps students build on their social skills by teaching them how to cook, shop and communicate by taking them out into the community. Janice has earned her degree in Child Development with a specialization in Special Needs from Golden West College and her Business degree from Cerritos College.
Janice is always working but when she is not at CIP, she is working at the YMCA or at the park coaching children from 4-18 in basketball. She is very passionate about developing children and helping them with life skills on and off the court.
