Jacqueline has worked in the field of health education for 5 years. With a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Central Florida, Jacqueline brings a variety of evidenced-based practices to CIP. Jacqueline is currently attending Indiana University to further her education in public health, with an emphasis on physical activity promotion.
Jacqueline is a certified health coach who has experience in a variety of departments within CIP, including wellness, life skills, and academics. As the Wellness Coordinator at CIP, Jacqueline teaches students how to make small habit changes to enhance their physical and mental health, educates the students on the national physical activity guidelines, teaches the students how to create and execute an exercise plan independently, how to reduce sedentary behavior, and how to meal prep. Jacqueline puts importance on making each wellness session individualized to fit the student’s health and wellness goals. As the Academic Coordinator at CIP, Jacqueline works closely with the local university to ensure students are getting proper support they need to be successful in their educational development.
Jacqueline enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking, exploring new restaurants, and creating new recipes. She lives in Bloomington with her husband and 2 cats, Einstein and Bruce.
