After 6 years as an HR professional, Claire Ngoon left the industry to pursue her passion to help people surpass their own expectations and discovering their own inner power to thrive. Since 2017, Claire has coached students between the ages of 8 – 70 years old on developing stress management skills, self confidence, and a growth mindset to overcome personal obstacles and become comfortable with uncertainty and change. Among her students include individuals on the spectrum, entrepreneurs, and busy moms. Claire is a E-RYT-200 certified yoga instructor, and takes her teachings of inner peace and self-empowerment into every coaching session.
As a Life Skills and Wellness Coach at CIP, Claire supports her students towards independence by helping them build their self confidence and life skills competencies through cooking, deep cleaning, wellness, creative arts, and bonding activities with the CIP community. She has earned an MBA in Human Resources from Notre Dame de Namur, and is a certified E-RYT 200 yoga teacher through CorePower Yoga. Claire also teaches for the summer youth program at College of San Mateo where she teaches teens skills in developing a growth mindset, career exploration, and public speaking.
When she is not coaching or teaching yoga, you can find her outside exploring nature, working on creative projects, or diving deep into subjects regarding human behavior and motivation.
