Angie works as a National Enrollment Specialist at the CIP National Office. She has 17 years of personal experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, with over 5 of them being in a professional environment.
Angie worked at The Community Transitions Program for her local school district, helping young adults with autism and learning differences bridge the gap from leaving high school to becoming independent and successful adults. Angie supported these young adults, providing them with career and academic coaching, as well as teaching them life skills. She was then a Medicaid Waiver Case Manager, who served as a gateway to services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
As a National Enrollment Specialist at CIP, Angie helps families and students navigate the full-year admissions process. Her goal is to establish an opportunity for students to successfully transition from adolescence to adulthood. Encouraging students to live their best lives and become productive members of their communities. Angie works with the families during the admissions process and ensures that they are receiving excellent service throughout.
Angie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She also spent a few years as a local autism support group leader in her community, and she still volunteers as a mentor for families with children on the autism spectrum.
When Angie is not at home cooking a delicious meal with her daughters, you can find her out hiking the trails with her Golden Retriever Sophie, practicing yoga, or traveling.
