P. Joseph Cox also known as Joe was born and raised in Ontario Canada. He earned his BA from the University of St. Jerome’s College at the University of Waterloo Canada in 1983. During this time and following, he was also pursuing Theological Studies for the Catholic Church. He moved to the United States to continue these studies and he also earned a Master of Education in Secondary School Counseling Degree from Kutztown University in PA in 1986.
In 1987, his career path changed and he earned his Social Workers License while working as a Clinical Specialist for a Private Residential Special Needs School for Emotionally Disturbed and Learning Disabled Children, which was located in the Berkshires. He worked there for 25 years until they closed their doors in June 2012. Joe began his current career at CIP in the summer of 2012 as a Student Advisor.
Joe has a wide range of interests; he enjoys and Values Family Life, he also enjoys working with young people who want to better themselves and their lives. Joe likes to “Invite” people to believe in themselves and be the best person they can be. He has been a Volunteer Fire Fighter. He is also actively involved in his Church and Community.
