Joining CIP from Upstate New York, Ken brings years of Human Resource and Management experience to the organization. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Economics from the State University of New York with a concentration in Human Resource Management. In addition, he completed the Executive Management Certificate Program and the Human Resource Certificate Program through Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Ken has certification designations as a Professional in Human Resource Management from HRCI (PHR) and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP).
For twelve years, Ken was the Director of Human Resources and Payroll for the Research Foundation for the State University of New York, System Administration Sponsored Programs Office. The Research Foundation is the largest, university connected research foundation in the country. During his tenure as Director of Human Resources, Ken also served as Director of Operations and Interim Executive Director. Prior to the Research Foundation, Ken spent ten years with The Prudential Insurance Company of America, a Fortune 500 Company, and four with Davis Vision-Highmark Inc., the fourth largest Blue Cross and Blue Shield affiliated company. With those organizations, Ken held a number of positions including Human Resource Manager, Project Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Regional Training and Development Coordinator.
Over his professional career, Ken has been fortunate that his roles have enabled him to live and work in many places across the United States including Los Angeles, Jacksonville, the New York and New Jersey Metropolitan area, Greater Boston, and all across Upstate New York.
