Born in the Midwest where the winters are “bone chilling” Jada has grown fond of the warm weather in Northern California where she currently resides with her family. She earned her Social Work Master’s degree at Cal State East Bay and is currently working towards completing her PsyD in Forensic/Clinical psychology.
Her background includes both government and private organizations where she has acquired successful experience in dual diagnosis, intensive case management, community-based residential advocacy, group home administration, and DDS residential counseling care services. She believes that public health career professionals are at the forefront of the global effort to combat health disparities, social inequalities, disease and epidemics; it is for these valor reasons that her interest and desire to be a part of the CIP team of champions manifested and became a reality in September 2015. Being a CIP Residential Counselor and advocate, has truly been a priceless, knowledge gaining and an uplifting experience for her.
The extracurricular activities in her life entail being a proud, active member of the Bay Area Black Social Workers Association. She is a former awardee and participates in the CalSWEC II Mental Health Organization. In recent years she has become a certified Northern California State Notary Republic.
