Carrie joined the College Internship Program in April 2016 as the Brevard Center’s full-time therapist. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2009 with a BS in Psychology, and went on to graduate school at Loyola University Chicago. She graduated in 2013 with her Master of Social Work with a specialization in health and children & families. Carrie worked for a therapeutic day school for students with autism called Giant Steps in Lisle, IL for 3 years prior to moving back to Brevard County. She has a passion for working with students and families impacted by ASD and continues to find new ways to learn about and advocate for students she works with.
In her spare time, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and son, particularly enjoying the outdoors! She loves swimming, going to the beach, going for long walks, reading, and going to the Brevard Zoo. She is looking forward to being back in Florida and enjoying the Space Coast!
