Mploy is designed for young adults with ASD and LD ages 18 to 26 who are interested in entering the workforce and transitioning to independent living.

Q: How is a typical day structured?
A: Participants will take part in engaging and experiential group modules, learning about the core areas needed for successful employment and independent living. Throughout the program, meetings with industry employers will provide a unique inside perspective into the world of work and help to connect classroom concepts with real-world experiences. Fun social activities, including sports games, amusement parks, bowling, movies and events, will offer opportunities for further socialization and on-the-fly teaching and mentoring. Some planned downtime is also incorporated into the schedules.
Q: What are the credentials of the staff?
A: CIP carefully selects professionals who have experience and specialized degrees working with young adults with ASD and LD and are knowledgeable in the field. All staff receive training specific to the Mploy Program and our curriculum.
Q: Where will the students live?
A: Participants will live on a college campus in a dorm with a roommate. This way they can practice independent living skills and experience college residential environments. Staff will be accessible 24 hours a day.
Q: What types of employers will participants interact with?
A: Employers from a variety of industries including entertainment, amusement parks, radio broadcasting, technology, engineering and business.
Q: Will your program help my student figure out what career path they are interested in?
A: Students will develop a more clear understanding of a variety of key employment-related skills. The program provides an immersive experience helping expand student’s interests while also identifying individual strengths and challenges.
Q: How are applicants selected?
A: Candidates for the Mploy Program must meet our admission criteria. Through the application, interview and enrollment process, admissions staff determine students interests and abilities and create a tight-knit group of motivated young adults.
Q: What does the program cost?
A: The 2016 Mploy Program has an all-inclusive cost of $4,900 ($300 will be handed back as cash to practice budgeting and handling money, and is preplanned for some meals and activities). The cost covers all activities, room and board (3 meals a day), optional airport pick up and drop off, and 24/7 staffing and support.
*A $2,000 credit can be applied towards the cost of a attending a comprehensive full year CIP program (up to $4,000 total for past participants)
