Executive functioning is a key skill required during daily activities such as making it to class on time, being organized with class work, and even social recreational events. CIP’s in-house curriculum was developed to provide students with essential supports to help them experience success.
This weekend, two CIP Long Beach students, Evan (L) and Harrison (R ), made plans to go on their own alternate activity to the Orange County Auto Show. Both students are big car enthusiasts, and they were very excited to plan this trip. The event took place on October 17th, and required the students to take two buses to travel across five cities to reach their destination in Anaheim, CA. Evan and Harrison were able to plan their travel independently, they purchased their tickets online, and they were able to get out and have some fun this weekend. Even more impressive, Evan and Harrison have only been at CIP for two months. Great job guys, way to show off your EF skills and make your dream a reality.
