Calling all artists! CIP is sponsoring and accepting entries for our 2011 National Art Contest until April 30th. The contest is open to students currently enrolled at any College Internship Program center. Winners will have their work displayed at the Good Purpose Gallery – opening June 2011 – in Lee, MA. The work of the winning artists will be reproduced for sale at the gallery, and artists will receive 50% of any and all profits. Artists will retain full ownership of their work.
Categories: Painting, Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, Computer Art, Film, Mixed-Media, Design, Video, Audio and Animation. Three contest winners will be chosen. 1st place winner will receive $100, 2nd place will receive $50 and Honorable Mention will receive $25.
CIP is dedicated to providing scholarships to college students with Asperger’s and LD. To further our mission, the remaining 50% from sales of student artwork will go directly to the arts fund. This is a great way for CIP students to help their Asperger’s and LD peers and participate in service learning at its finest.
