Berkeley student, Aaron Samuels, has been involved in the Special Olympics for 8 years and running. Recently he obtained his 4th gold medal. Aaron’s baseball team, the Southside Santa Clara Dragons, won 4 games straight, beat the East Bay Tomahawks to claim the championship. When asked to reflect on his current win, Aaron, who plays the catcher position, stated “Our team was well focused, balanced, and they played their hearts out to win”.
