CIP has announced plans to offer simplified tuition plans and enhancements to its comprehensive year-round support programs. Beginning Fall 2015, CIP will offer a base tuition of $59,500 per year for their year-round program. A higher tuition option with increased services will be available, as well as an off-campus option for students transitioning to independent living.
CIP’s established benchmarks and milestones within the program are driven by each young adult’s own unique strengths and motivators. The curriculum and program offerings will be enhanced by additional small group options and provide more flexibility with the delivery of key services based on individual student needs.
“We’ve identified, through a year-long process of collecting feedback and holding brainstorming sessions with staff, that our students will benefit more from a carefully crafted combination of small group and one-on-one sessions,” commented Dan McManmon, President of CIP.
“Staff work as a team to select from a range of highly individualized services ranging from tutoring to occupational therapy, putting the building blocks in place to help each student achieve their personal goals such as obtaining a college degree, entering the workforce, and living more independently,” he continued.
Research indicates that students with autism who receive support during their educational years will achieve better outcomes throughout their lifespan. CIP helps students learn key skills during this period by enabling them to have a holistic independent living experience and learn how to make smooth transitions.
Over the last several years, CIP has established partnerships with local colleges, universities and businesses, offering internship and job opportunities. CIP also assists students in pursuing their individual employment interests within the local community.
“Our philosophy is that students with learning differences must live, learn and work in environments that duplicate normal real-life conditions and be integrated fully into the community,” stated McManmon.
