All of the students and staff had a great time by dressing up for each day of the week and participating in Wellness Day. The first day was “Decade Day,” where people were to dress up with the style of a certain decade. We had one student who dressed from the Renaissance Era and another from the 1950s, wearing a slick leather jacket.
On Tuesday, it was “Celebrity or Cartoon Character Day,” which we had one student dress as a character from a comic and a staff member dress as Frida Kahlo, the famous painter who had a unibrow. Wednesday was Halloween, so people dressed in Halloween costumes, such as a cat, the Grim Reaper with a skeleton mask, and a ballerina.
On Thursday, we had “Pajama Day,” where you could come straight from bed in your pajamas! Lastly, the week capped off with Wellness Day on Friday, where students participated in several activities, such as making stress balls (which caused a mess!), doing Judo exercises and relay races, and making wellness collages.
We then had a CIP Alumni, student, and staff soccer game at the park, resulting in a close and entertaining finish! All students and staff had an exciting and memorable Spirit Week!
