Jen Kupiec, MS
CIP Amherst Summer Co-Coordinator
Jen joined the College Internship Program in 2013 and has held the position of the Social Skills Coordinator for the past 2 years along with being Interim Director this past fall.
Jen has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Science in School Counseling from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. After graduating with her Master’s, Jen has worked as a School Counselor in South Carolina as well as schools across Western New York. She is a NYS Certified School Counselor with previous experience working with students who have learning differences.
In her spare time, Jen enjoys spending time with her dogs, at the gym doing CrossFit, and enjoying time with her husband, family, and friends.
CIP Long Beach Summer Coordinator
Brodie is new to the CIP family and recently came on board to run the summer program in Long Beach.
Brodie grew up in Ramona, California, just outside of San Diego. After graduating high school, he decided to stay near his hometown and attend the University of California, San Diego, where he pursued his passion for education by receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics for Secondary Education in 2010. After continuing his degree, he began teaching at Francis Parker School in San Diego, California where he taught Mathematics and Physics for four years. At Parker, Brodie worked with all types of students in different learning venues. He began working with students with learning differences to help them bridge their gap of connection to the material in the fields of math and physics.
After four wonderful years, Brodie moved to Burbank, California, just north of Los Angeles. There, he teamed up with the California Association of Student Leaders (CASL) to network and train student leaders from all over California from all different walks of life to help them achieve more.
Brodie is also a professional, motivational speaker, as well as a Professional Ballroom Dancer. He developed his dancing career in college and was featured with UC San Diego on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars and currently competes around the nation.
CIP Berkshire Summer Coordinator
Alison joined CIP in 2015 as the Summer Coordinator of the Berkshire Summer Program.
She holds a Masters in Education from Antioch University New England and has taught kindergartners through adults both in the classroom and as an experiential educator for Outward Bound. During the academic year, she manages the Health and Counseling Services Office at Bard College at Simon’s Rock. Outside of work, Alison relishes time with her family playing outdoors, gardening, reading, photography, and volunteering as an ESL tutor.
CIP Berkeley Summer Coordinator
Tanya joined the College Internship Program in the summer of 2014 and holds the position of Social Mentor. This is her first summer working as the Summer Coordinator.
Tanya has her Masters in Clinical Psychology and is currently working towards her Psy.D. at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. She specializes in working with children and adolescents by providing psychotherapy and assessment.
In her spare time, Tanya enjoys traveling, salsa dancing, exploring the bay area, and spending time with family and friends.
Gina Iannone, MSW
CIP Brevard Summer Coordinator
Gina joined CIP in 2011 as an intern completing her BA in health and human services at the University at Buffalo. In the summer of that year she began her employment as a summer program staff in Amherst, NY and transitioned that fall to the full year program as a life skills staff member. In the fall of 2012 she accepted the position of Life Skills Coordinator at the Amherst CIP Center. Since 2013, Gina has also coordinated the summer programs in Brevard each summer.
Gina graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2013 with her masters of social work. She is currently living in Melbourne, Florida and working with at risk youth in a school setting, as well as working with adults in a Behavioral Health setting.
When she isn’t working Gina enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, watching movies, swimming and spending time with friends, family, and having fun outside with her dog, Genny.
