Natalie joined the College Internship Program in Fall 2016 as a student advisor. She graduated from Cal State University, Long Beach in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Educational Studies. Natalie has been working alongside those with disabilities for thirteen years.
Her background includes supporting individuals assimilate into their communities by assisting them in navigating social, independent living skill sets. She has experiences developing/presenting special education curriculum from K-12 school systems and as a job coach by guiding those with disabilities in the workforce. As someone with a disability herself, Natalie, believes everyone has opportunities to succeed if given the right toolset to fit their individual needs.
Natalie’s mission is to help those with differences to find and access their own unique tools to ensure healthy, happy and triumphant lives.
Natalie loves being outside in nature, road trips, exploring new places, farmers’ markets, listening to music, attending concerts and comedy shows, yoga, reading and spending time with her cats, Daria and Orion.
